Symfony community

On February 16-17 the Symfony community gathered for the 2nd Symfony live conference organized by Sensio Labs. In general the discussions were about symfony (a framework for rapid website development) and the doctrine which is the main part of the symfony ecosystem. Several more general topics such as PHP performance, deploying applications to the cloud or Zend Framework were discusses as well. The announcement and release of the Symfony 2 codebase was the main point of the conference.

In the reports the representatives from OkAPI were talking about the improvements to sfRouting, about the dependency injection and possible improvements to the Symfony auxiliary classes. Xavier de Cock made a report on PHP-code optimization and GIT.
