Renting or buying a condo?

Recently I’ve been thinking about investing some money into property, mainly in condos since they need little maintenance and my family isn’t going to live there all the time. First of all, I consider houses in Hollywood (Florida) as the location for my investments.

But I worry a bit about future. Condos differ from ordinary houses. They don’t need much land and you can build loads of them. I’m afraid that investors can create the problem of over-building, i.e. saturation of the market.

I am not going to sell a condo next year but I’d like to know about possible perspectives for this market. Maybe I should rent a condo?
